But uske liye gaane sunne zaruri hai

The same people who are celebrating the album of Dhurandhar today both Part 1 and The Revenge are the very ones who were criticizing Punjabi music just a few days ago.
Back then, they were saying things like “Punjabification is ruining Indian cinema,” “Punjabi influence is destroying Bollywood,” and “it’s killing the art of music.” But now? The same crowd is praising the entire album, calling Satinder Sartaaj a national treasure, and appreciating artists like Jasmine Sandlas.
The switch-up is honestly unbelievable.
It’s hard to digest this level of hypocrisy 😂
how opinions flip so quickly depending on what’s trending. And let’s be real, this appreciation feels temporary. Give it a few days, and these same voices will go back to criticizing Punjabi music all over again.
The inconsistency says more about the audience than the art itself.

In this reel he makes three claims: first, that he’s extremely handsome and the film didn’t do him justice; second, that he’s in talks with Netflix for a biopic; and third, that Netflix has already cast Wagner Moura (the actor from Narcos)to play him in a biopic
Unreal stuff

@BURN4DESIRE1 2023 remours that he was poisoned (may even be dead actually) and has no publci appearance to confirm alive for a long logn time. most likely dead or brain dead and apk just wants to keep up the illusion

#Dhurandhar2 - A big question coming out of Dhurandhar 2
The film shows a character inspired by Dawood Ibrahim portrayed as someone who was secretly drugged by Jameel Jamali (an Indian asset) and left permanently weak and bedridden.
But is this really true… or just cinematic fiction?
Because at the beginning of the film, Aditya Dhar clearly mentions that the story and characters are not entirely real.
So now the debate begins 👇
Is this a hidden truth being hinted at… or just a fictional twist for storytelling?
Is Dawood Ibrahim actually alive and well or is there more to the story than we know?
Cinema creates narratives… but reality can be very different.
What do you think?

@akashd7781 I live in relatively moderately populated town in the South of US and there are 2 theaters here. Never has 2 shows of an Indian movie been sold out a day before in advance
English

The hype around Dhurandhar is actually insane.
Just to give some context, Belfast isn’t exactly a huge city compared to the rest of the UK/Ireland, and I’ve NEVER seen an Indian film get this kind of treatment here. Most movies barely get a couple of shows.
But Dhurandhar? 7 shows.
That’s the level of buzz it’s creating in a foreign market. Now just imagine what’s about to happen in India… absolute madness loading.

@desisigma Rakesh ji said during an interview that when Aditya casted him for a brief role in Uri, he had promised a bigger role in a project he was working on and then Dhurandhar happened and he said Aditya wanted him in a serious role that he knew Rakesh ji would absolutley nail
English

first i thought aditya dhar casting rakesh bedi as jamil jamali in dhurandhar was just an unexpected masterstroke.
a tv comedy face turning into a cold, calculating political operator, and absolutely owning it.
but then i rewatched uri: the surgical strike and spotted him there too, completely different space, yet equally impactful. that's when it hit me, this wasn't random, dhar had seen this range way before anyone else.
and then i realise this wasn't luck. dhar saw something others didn’'t. even industry people admitted they wouldn't have dared to cast him like this.
in dhurandhar 1, he quietly builds jamali's presence, subtle, controlled, dangerous. and in dhurandhar 2, he fully unleashes, becoming one of the biggest highlights of the film.
even hrithik roshan appreciated his performance, and ranveer singh straight up said if the film does 1000 crore, 500 crore belongs to rakesh bedi. also, arjun rampal jokingly teased during preview that rakesh bedi ate the movie.
what started as "unexpected casting" turned into one of the smartest character arcs across films.
peak detailing by dhar.

@Abhinav_hariom Same Thala that has never openly condemned Pak attacks or praised Indian Army and Operation Sindoor? While most players have? Also skipped Ram Janmbhoomi invite btw
