Like for instance, if you travel to Enugu while going back to where you're coming from — you have to buy from Enugu which is Okay cos it's quite popular. It's an evidence that you actually went there that's how it was perceived in the olden days. Times might have changed but this practice has been consistent. Let's assume you passed through Ore while going to Lagos, everyone assume you should eat or buy their banana... This is our culture and nothing can change it.
