A nemá smysl si nalhávat že byla jakákoliv snaha BM dodržet kterýmkoliv signatářem. Ale ukazovat prstem teď nic neřeší.

@marcinko_marek @Obluda252 @Lazikkkk Pohnout se měla především Evropa, ale nehnuli jsme ani prstem. USA by se pak nejspíš přidaly. Těžko po nich chtít, aby řešili evropský problém, když my na to koukáme z gauče.

Ukrajinský prezident se domnívá, že minimálním požadavkem mělo být členství v NATO nebo skutečný „bezpečnostní deštník“. Místo toho Ukrajina dostala jen prázdné sliby. Po rozpadu SSSR měla Ukrajina jeden z největších jaderných arzenálů na světě. Ten byl předán Rusku. O několik let později Rusko zahájilo válku proti Ukrajině, mimo jiné s využitím techniky, kterou tehdy získalo.

Do první války Ameriku netlačila nějaká evropská zbabělost, ale německá ponorková válka a Zimmermannův telegram. Do druhé ji netlačila evropská nerozhodnost, ale Pearl Harbor a krátce nato Hitlerovo vlastní vyhlášení války, což zůstává jedním z nejidiotštějších strategických rozhodnutí moderních dějin. A Evropa sama před rokem 1939 nebyla žádný jednolitý klub slabochů, ale směs appeasementu, přezbrojování, traumat z Verdunu a zoufalé snahy oddálit další jatka. Historické paralely jsou užitečné, když osvětlují. Když jen nahrazují přemýšlení, vznikne z nich intelektuální cosplay. Tak prosím, chlapi, nelejte to pivo příště z oken. Podívejte se pak, jak vypadáte!
