A close friend of mine told me she was in a relationship with a guy for several years (same tribe but different states) only for the guy's family to tell him to end the relationship that they don't marry from her state. The guy couldn't speak for himself no matter what she do. 👇

This was how I ended a 2 years relationship with a girl I loved so much. One day I told my mum I have interest in marrying the girl I was dating, my mum just asked me a few questions if I’m ready if I really loved her and so one. It ended there the about a month later my mum came back to tell me I can’t marry her, that she made enquiries about the girls village and that I can’t marry this girl, I tried to convince her that she’s a good girl but instead my mum played the emotional card. I ended the relationship 2 weeks after but till date I blame myself and can’t forgive myself cause I feel like I missed a big opportunity to a good lifetime partner. Please am I wrong for ending the relationship?

The day I delivered in a general hospital, the way some of the nurses behaved shook me. One even said she would not stitch me up unless I begged her. This was right after delivery, while I was still in serious pain. When they brought my baby, I did not take my eyes off them for one second. No relative was allowed in, not even my husband in the labour room. I felt like I was the only one there to protect my child. The way they were acting made me so uneasy. I just kept praying and watching. What happened that day made me vow to never give birth at a general hospital again. May God help us all.
