One of the loudest results in the country this weekend. West Virginia trails Kansas by a game in the Big 12 standings going into the final weekend of the regular season. The first Lawrence Regional is definitely in jeopardy. Jayhawks go to BYU to close out the regular season.

When a very very good West Virginia team sweeps a very very good Kansas team, the answer isn’t “the Big 12 might not host a regional”, in fact, it’s just the opposite. This weekend was a win-win for the league, IMO, as long as KU can rebound at BYU next weekend.
