- Multi-Format Support: Full vinyl, cassette, CD, and digital format tracking with historical accuracy. Each format becomes available in its correct year. See format-specific sales on release screens.
- Start in Any Era: Begin your game in any year between 1970 to 2020. Genres and features unlock historically (MTV 1981, CDs 1983, Digital 2004). Costs scale according to the year you are on.
- MyTunes Platform: iTunes-inspired digital store launches in 2004. Browse global charts, artist pages, and albums directly in MyTunes.
- Legal Department: Complete legal system to handle copyright, trademark, and contract disputes. Assign employees to cases, manage deadlines, and choose to settle or fight. Launch anti-piracy campaigns to combat digital piracy affecting your sales.
- Own Your Stores: Build and manage physical retail stores and distribution centers across continents. Sign distribution deals with rival labels for fee revenue. Hire Distribution executives to improve management.
- Piracy System: Digital piracy now impacts sales from 1999 onwards (Napster era). Fight back with anti-piracy campaigns, fan loyalty.
- Tour pace settings to control artist stress.
- Custom tour images. (If you press the tour default image, on View Tour screen, you can set your own, and also a cover for the tour that you will see in Tours list)
- Artist summary shows all upcoming releases, tours, and recording sessions in one view.
- EPs now fully integrated into awards, marketing, and compilations.
- Market research shows format share evolution from vinyl to digital/streaming.
- Mail notification system in label summary screen.
- Happiness increases a bit faster and when your artist ends up treatment, gets a boost of happiness.

- View discographies of your previous artists (either stolen or terminated).
- Different sales algorithms (it's not like before where it topped first weeks and came down, it's more dynamic now).
- Introduction of "classics" in setlists (really good ones don't reduce novelty).
- Pick start time for tours.
- Calendar view, you can see it when planning a session, release, etc. At the top of the screen. Could be useful to better plan your artists calendar.
- 5 new achievements.
