@jhforster I came back to say that no one is doing sunrise fireworks. FW act as a crescendo on July 4th, but what about waking up in Salem on Nov 1 to fireworks just before the sun comes up to celebrate having the city back? I think that would feel pretty positive. And maybe unpopular.

@jhforster 5 minutes of fireworks seems like plenty of fireworks.

I live downtown and I’m supportive of most of the Halloween silliness in #SalemMA but 30 minutes of fireworks on a Monday night is excessive. My kids have been woken up. My dogs are terrified. And this could have ended ~15 minutes ago?

Just diving into my monthly email from a local restaurant broker. It’s usually peppered with conservative messaging… but openly supporting tax fraud is a new flavor.

I’ve purchased two beverages this week only to realize, too late, that they contained stevia as a sweetener. Stop putting stevia in things. It does not taste good.

My wife and I had to terminate our first pregnancy b/c the fetus had a rare kidney condition that wasn’t compatible with life. It was the worst experience of our lives. But sure, let’s put people in jail for receiving life saving medical care. What a cruel and stupid day. 😖

I had fun looking at reviews of Salem Common. A mostly grassy, open space for those who are unfamiliar with it. Jalen’s friend was hit with a baseball and they weren’t ok with it. #SalemMA
