Update I stood my ground and asked to be admitted for mental health. When I finally saw another dr she agreed the previous one was full of shit and my chronic situation is real. Advocate for yourselves!! It’s worth it

also my blood pressure was consistently high which was weird. I’m 24, 68kg, and apart from my chronic illnesses, am in general good health. My bp being up kinda scared me tbh but it’s not too high to worry too severely about

so we shall see. It took me over 6 hours to be seen in emergency. Now whether they classify me as a patient with severe pain or a mentally ill drug seeker remains to be seen

like that’s so negligent. I just said I’m going back to emergency and will get triaged again - i said to the nurses if they’re not willing to admit me then admit me as a mental health patient

I’m at emergency again for unbearable chronic pain and this useless doctor decided to give me a new unprompted diagnosis: a drug addict 😍😍

No wonder the checkout lady seemed confused when I said I was buying her for chronic pain. She’s now strictly moral support lol

I purchased a $35 plushie thinking it was a microwaveable heat pack. She’s not. I just now have an expensive plushie.
