@alittlelost_00 I think Gans understands Silent Hill from an exoteric and aesthetic point of view, but fumbles and the thematic and emotional elements of the franchise. Which is why his movies look like Silent Hill but often doesn’t feel like it. But that’s my opinion

I do think this movie deserves its flowers despite my problems with it. Looks great and has an amazing atmosphere. It was my introduction to Silent Hill as well, so I love it for that at least. Happy bday.

@OddsOrvar I totally get that! I think I get into a spiral of guilt about it, then I feel unmotivated again. I spend so much time thinking and not doing, and that’s where my energy is expelled.

Hot take: Asking a streamer if they “remember” you in chat is kind of rude. Especially if you haven’t been to stream nor active in the community in several months OR you changed ur name. You are putting the streamer on the spot and it’s not cool.
