I appreciate President Trump deleting this. This was not appropriate at all. I know that I’d call out a Democrat if they posted anything depicting themselves like this, and I have to be consistent. It’s just not acceptable. I’ll always put my faith first above anything else. I’m glad he’s realized that it was an error to post this and I appreciate him rectifying it.

Personally, I don't believe the president intended to depict himself as Jesus when he posted it. He is a believer after all. I do appreciate that he deleted it, since it's something President Trump has rarely done. Discernment is learned, not always automatic. Keep praying for President Trump.

President Trump is not Jesus. President Trump is not God. President Trump is not divine. In fact, he's never said he sees himself as any of those things. He’s even said he doesn’t know if he’s going to heaven, which I pray he does. He sees himself as a doctor healing a sick country. I founded Pastors for Trump and have met with President Trump several times in the Oval Office. Every time people enter the Oval, he immediately points out two golden angels above the doors coming in and then tells the story of how an angel was with him in Butler, PA, and that God spared his life. President Trump has repeatedly stated how Jesus Christ is not only Lord but his personal Lord and Savior. I can confidently say that President Trump does not remotely think he is Jesus, but President Trump knows that he needs God’s blessing and favor to accomplish the mission of Making America Great Again.

Here’s the original post created by @NickAdamsinUSA 1) Proper context: Trump didn’t make it. 2) Proper interpretation: the meme creator said it means Trump is healing a Christian nation. 3) Would there be less outrage if Trump was presented as a Hindu Brahmin or Buddhist monk or Muslim imam instead? Of course it’d be ridiculous. He’s a pro-Christian leader. Dress him up like a Christian disciple. 4) Look at the date. 5) It only took 2 months for the snowflakes to notice and go into meltdown. 6) For whatever reason, Trump has done more to expose the heart conditions of men than any person since Jesus Christ. If you meet Jesus, you had to take sides. Crucify Him or die for Him. It’s hard to be indifferent about Jesus. Trump makes the hysterical crowd shout, “Crucify him! Crucify him!” I know many will be glad when he is gone. It’s sick. The day will come, and we will see public euphoria as demonic as the day Jesus died. And they will be disappointed to find out God was not cheering with the mad masses. 7) Trump’s existence and the reactions he evokes helps illustrate Bible truths I could not imagine before. This is better than Mel Gibson’s depiction in The Passion of the Christ. 8) This too shall pass. God will prevail. Americans, stop being emotional. The battle for freedom of speech/ conscience/ religion/ travel/ trade needs stalwart troopers, not fair weather friends.
