Yesterday, I had a conversation about why it's so difficult to gain a foothold in crypto right now. Especially when you're new. I think it's because nobody believes anymore. At least not really. Crypto is seen as a late-stage lottery ticket to make a few bucks before it all ends. No one believes in anything anymore. All the L1s, L2s, the memecoins from the past two years, no one believes they're really going to change anything. Or at least remain relevant over a longer period of time. The last time it was really different was maybe the NFT run in 2021. People really believed it was going to change the world. That's why many Bored Ape holders didn't sell their NFTs, not at $50k USD, not at $500k USD. Sure, in hindsight, that was a stupid decision, but it was genuine belief. Even after the end of the NFT run, many communities held on for years in the bear market. Nowadays, most projects are over a month after TGE and airdrop. Nobody cares. And the "community" moves on to the next thing. And I understand that. Most people are disillusioned after years of being mercilessly punished for holding and believing. Get your money and move on.
