Partners away day: lunchtime walk @OfSpinney

GP tweeps, today is the day that @ARRADOY Michael van Dessel retires as a partner @OfSpinney after 30 years. He’s staying to help with the pandemic and teaching. Continuing as @RCGPMersey Provost and course organiser. Very proud to have been your partner. #gp

Our partnership saw 2 patients face to face since Friday who lied about symptoms when screened for coronavirus prior to appointment. Both tested positive. It’s happening a lot at the moment as some people just want to be seen. Patients: think before risking NHS lives @TeamGP

I’m noticing a rise in ‘COVIDneck ‘ and associated cervicogenic headache. Particularly amongst NHS workers due to excessive smart phone usage @TeamGP #COVID19

So, community ingenuity.... visors via 3D printers started arriving in StHelens now for GP use @gregjirving thanks for the delivery. #COVID19 @TeamGP

Ok, from the Heart. It’s Sunday evening. A very tough and escalating week ahead. I’ve never been prouder in my professional life than seeing the way my ‘Out of hospital’ colleagues have reacted to #COVID in the community. Our hospital colleagues are up against it too. Be strong.

And as we know @TeamGP : there are sacrifices at a family level being taken by all those on the front line of this pandemic #COVID But our NHS is worth fighting for. Non NHS people : listen to isolating advice. NHS friends: you have my admiration. Let’s go to work MONDAY @rcgp
