We are currently out investigating an intoxicated driver at Fort Crook & Childs Rd.

The other night, officers responded to an accident. The driver made the choice to get behind the wheel while intoxicated. The driver also told officers he was playing Pokémon Go… Make the right choice: call a friend, use a ride-share, or find a sober driver.

UPDATE: The above-mentioned female, identified as Josephine Baker, of Bellevue, has been released from the medical facility where she was receiving treatment. After further investigation, Baker was placed under arrest and booked into the Sarpy County Jail for 2nd Degree Murder, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, 1st Degree Arson, and 1st Degree Domestic Assault. No further information will be released by the Bellevue Police Department. Any media inquiries can be made by contacting the Sarpy County Attorney’s Office

A large tree is blocking the intersection of 25th St and Linda St. North and South are blocked. If you have to be out on the road find an alternate route while our streets department works on getting it removed
