Exports from Telangana to the European Union are set to accelerate. With world-class infrastructure and progressive policies, Telangana is attracting strong global investment interest. In a meeting with a Slovenian delegation led by by Slovenian Ambassador Tomaž Mencin, we highlighted opportunities in Life Sciences, Automobiles, and IT, inviting companies to invest and strengthening ties with Slovenia. Also pointed out that Slovenia plays a significant role in supplying original equipment components to major global automobile brands such as Volkswagen, Kia, Peugeot, Citroën, and Stellantis etc. With nearly 99.95% of exports to the EU enjoying zero tariffs, this presents a significant opportunity. We assured full support and incentives for industries in Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Automotive sectors, while also exploring OEM collaboration. Our government is the only one that has provided bonus to Singareni contract workers The previous BRS Party government denied the existence of contract workers, but our government recognized and ensured that both regular and contract workers receive bonuses. Telangana Emerges as a Hub for TB Diagnostic Kit Manufacturing Telangana has secured a distinct position in TB diagnostic kit manufacturing, strengthening healthcare innovation. Early detection is key to preventing drug-resistant TB, and the state is now scaling up production. As part of this initiative, Global diagnostics leader bioMérieux has inaugurated its facility in Genome Valley, Hyderabad. The plant will create around 100 jobs, invested around ₹50 crore in the first phase of its Genome Valley facility with plans for an R&D center. This initiative will accelerate TB testing and improve disease control across the country. Founded in 1963, bioMérieux’s presence will boost both public health and the state’s growth. The Government of Telangana remains committed to TB elimination and stronger healthcare systems. The event was attended by Marc Lamy, Charles Mahy, Alexandre Mérieux, and Sarvesh Singh. ₹300 crore boost to Telangana’s life sciences ecosystem! US based Cambridge Isotope Laboratories and Hyderabad’s Chemtatva Chiral Solutions will jointly set up an advanced isotope labelled compounds manufacturing facility at Genome Valley Phase 4. The project will generate around 250 jobs and strengthen India’s capabilities in advanced chemistry, pharmaceutical research, diagnostics, OLED materials and the semiconductor sector while reducing dependence on imports. Dr. Vishal Rajput, CEO of Chemtatva Chiral Solutions, said that the partnership with Cambridge Isotope Laboratories will help develop world class manufacturing capabilities in Telangana. Telangana’s digital success story is now going global.  Telangana is exploring stronger tech ties with Tanzania as both sides look to accelerate digital growth. During a meeting with a high level Tanzanian delegation led by Mudrick Ramadhani Soraga, Tanzania’s Minister for Communication, ICT, and Innovation. Discussions focused on collaboration in IT, digital governance, startups, healthcare, life sciences, tourism, and skill development. Mr. Soraga said Tanzania is keen to partner with progressive regions like Telangana to advance its digital economy ambitions, adding that the state's progress in IT, medical tourism, innovation ecosystems, and governance is inspiring.
