In November 2024, I created a VTuber support-chain post looking for friends. Hoshino_miyuu who was then using the name Chu_ube contacted me. During our friendship, she went through numerous usernames, including:
Vyxiie
Vyxichii
Chu_ube
Chuubii
Chuubiimoon
goth_token
We became close friends and regularly spent 8–12 hours per day together in Discord voice calls. We also collaborated on Twitch streams and worked on VTuber models together.
During this time:
I created stream graphics and assets for her for free.
I added ARKit tracking/blendshapes to approximately six of her 3D VTuber models without charging her.
I considered these favors done out of friendship.
Repeated Rebranding
Throughout our friendship she repeatedly: changed usernames, changed aesthetics, completely redesigned her VTuber identity.
These changes became so frequent that I had difficulty identifying her accounts or tagging her after collaborations so viewers could find her streams or commission her artwork.
Because of the constant identity changes, and because they reminded me of difficult periods in my own past involving identity struggles, I decided to end the friendship.
Reassurance-Seeking or Controlling Behavior
While we were friends, we often spent extremely long (10 to 12 hour) periods together in Discord voice chat.
Afterward, if I became busy and did not immediately respond to a direct message, she would regularly post statements such as:
"Nobody likes me."
"Everyone hates me."
These comments occurred on a semi-regular basis following delayed responses.
Later, after I privately expressed concern about this behavior to a mutual friend, that friend informed her of the conversation.
End of Friendship
When I chose to distance myself, her current VTuber identity consisted of:
blonde hair
fox theme
I later uploaded a video discussing my decision to distance myself from a former friend.
In the video:
I did not identify her by name.
I explained that someone close to me had caused me distress. I explained that witnessing constant identity changes was personally triggering because of my own previous struggles with identity.
I stated that I simply wanted space.
Public Call-Out
After the video was released:
she discussed me in her Discord server,
used @everyone notifications,
encouraged members to criticize me,
portrayed me negatively despite my not naming her publicly.
According to my understanding, this marked the beginning of an extended smear campaign against me.
Alleged Smear Campaign and Harassment
Following this incident, I experienced what I believe was a sustained pattern that included:
public accusations,
continued monitoring of my online activity, on her alt account she created under Veo_La_Luz
repeated mass-reporting of my social media accounts,
encouraging followers to attack, gaslight or criticize me publicly,
blocking or banning people who defended me or questioned her behavior.
This pattern continued for many months, extending to approximately a year.
Alleged Copying of Creative Work
After our friendship ended, I observed repeated similarities between my work and later changes to her online identity.
Examples include:
Celestial Rebrand
After I adopted a celestial-themed VTuber with a silver-haired design, she later changed from her fox theme to a purple celestial aesthetic with a similar color palette and design direction.
Butterfly Theme
While I was developing a fairy-themed model featuring blue butterfly graphics, she later incorporated similar blue butterfly accents into her own graphics and profile artwork.
Sailor Moon Inspiration
I publicly posted that my self-made graphics were inspired by Sailor Moon.
Within hours, she tweeted that a Live2D model she had purchased and edited had also been inspired by Sailor Moon.
Fox Theme
Because my fairy model created performance issues on my PC, I switched to a fox-themed model.
Approximately two days later she posted that she intended to become a red fox as well.
According to my recollection, that tweet was later deleted.
Witch Model
I eventually debuted another model featuring:
glowing hair tips,
Poyomi Toon shaders,
purple eyes,
crescent moon marking,
metallic gold/silver accents,
multiple hairstyles,
multiple outfits.
Shortly afterward she posted a VRChat model that she said she wanted to use as inspiration for another rebrand.
I believed the design shared notable similarities with my newly debuted model.
Twitch Panels
I also believe she copied:
my Twitch panel layout,
panel organization,
wording,
overall presentation.
According to my account:
when we first met she did not have comparable panels,
she later changed them after being publicly criticized,
the changes were made on May 19, 2024.
Opalite Rebrand
After I altered my own model into an opalite variation to further distinguish my branding, I observed her making similar aesthetic changes.
ARKit Assistance
Although I had repeatedly helped her add ARKit tracking to her own models free of charge during our friendship, I later regretted doing so because I felt those favors were followed by continued imitation of my work after our friendship ended.
Stream About My Father
During one Twitch stream I became emotional while discussing my father's inability to obtain his diabetes medication due to shortages and insurance issues.
I expressed fears that:
his uncontrolled diabetes could become life-threatening,
I was struggling mentally with the possibility of losing him.
Two days later, while checking one of her streams because I believed she continued monitoring my activity, I heard her begin discussing concerns about her boyfriend's sleep apnea, using wording that I felt closely resembled what I had previously said about my father's health.
I did not record that stream and therefore do not have video evidence of this event.
My father ultimately suffered permanent kidney damage related to his diabetes complications and may require dialysis or a kidney transplant.
At one point, Miyu/Chuubii told me through Discord DMs that she had been in TsukiFoxGirl's Twitch stream/Discord server during an Overwatch match. She said that while Tsuki was live, she attempted to talk about her newest 3D model, and Tsuki told her not to self-promote in her stream.
After this interaction, Miyu spoke negatively about Tsuki to me and called her a "bitch." She also advised me to block and ban TsukiFoxGirl from my Twitch channel, despite the fact that I had never interacted with Tsuki before and had no personal experience with her behavior.
Miyu was encouraging me to take action against someone I did not know based solely on her own account of the situation, without giving me the opportunity to form my own opinion or verify what happened.
Additional Concerns
I also believe she:
repeatedly removed her graphics and artwork after criticism,
announced hiatuses after being called out,
later returned with new designs that I felt resembled my own work,
sent followers after me when I publicly discussed my experiences.
After I spoke out about my experiences and attempted to distance myself from Miyu, a secondary account called Veo_la_luz was created to monitor and catalog my online rebrands.
The reason I continued changing my VTuber identity and usernames was not to draw attention, but to create distance from her and establish an online identity separate from the one associated with our previous friendship. I was attempting to move forward creatively and maintain boundaries after the situation had negatively impacted me.
Despite this, the account appeared to track each time I changed my VTuber identity or username. After each rebrand, the account would tag my previous and current usernames together using slash formatting, creating a public record connecting my past identities with my new ones.
I found this behavior deeply unsettling and concerning because it felt like my attempts to separate myself and move on were being actively monitored and documented. I viewed the creation of an account specifically dedicated to tracking my identity changes as invasive and inappropriate, especially after I had made it clear that I wanted distance and no further involvement.
After I discovered this account, another account was created to continue the same behavior that was tagged in the main accounts bio but had been changed. I was unable to locate or identify the replacement account, but I observed that the pattern of monitoring continued.
This contributed to my feeling that I could not freely rebrand, create, or participate in the VTuber community without being watched, tracked, or repeatedly connected back to a person I was actively trying to distance myself from.
To this day, I believe that whenever Miyu or people associated with her see me attempting to move forward, maintain my own online identity, avoid conflict, and network within the VTuber community on X, my profiles are repeatedly mass reported. These reports have resulted in my accounts being marked as spam or having reduced visibility. I have had seven different accounts at this rate marked as spam, and two mass reported to the point of being suspended, specifically my LadyViktoria and my Torlzer account from when I had spoken out about her abusive behavior over two years ago.
I believe these actions are intended to discourage me from speaking publicly about my experiences and to prevent others from seeing my perspective.
The situation had a significant impact on my creativity and participation in the VTuber community. After repeatedly feeling that my original work, designs, and creative ideas were being used as inspiration for her own rebrands, I lost much of my motivation to create and stepped back from the community on X for approximately a year.
During this time, I felt increasingly isolated. Many people appeared to distance themselves from me, and I believe some were afraid that associating with me would cause them to become targets of harassment or conflict themselves. My perception was that people avoided involvement because they were concerned about being singled out by Miyu or members of her social circle if they supported me or questioned her behavior.
As a result, I had largely kept to myself within the VTuber community in order to avoid further conflict and protect my ability to create.
Additionally, there are verified allegations of tracing artwork that were discussed by others online, including in a viral KatNChat YouTube video.
has publicly stated that she has changed, that she is trying to become a better person, that she no longer traces artwork, and that she no longer causes problems within the community.
However, based on my recent experiences, including my accounts being repeatedly marked as spam after attempting to participate normally online and reconnect with the VTuber community, I remain skeptical of these claims.
From my perspective, these recent incidents conflict with the idea that the behavior has stopped. While I cannot personally verify who is responsible for every account report or action taken against my profiles, the timing and pattern have contributed to my continued concerns about whether the same issues are still occurring.
Because of my previous experiences, I have difficulty trusting statements about changed behavior without seeing consistent actions over time. If you read all of this thank you.

I am sharing this document the events that occurred from my perspective and to explain why I chose to distance myself.
