Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, in Kampala as the representative of the Government of India. During the visit, the Hon’ble Minister conveyed India’s warm greetings and reaffirmed the strong and enduring partnership between India and Uganda. Attended the Swearing in ceremony of the President elect H.E Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda. The function was attended by H.E Jessica Alupo R.E, Vice President of Republic of Uganda, Speaker of Parliament, Chief Justice and other dignitaries from Republic of Uganda as well as representatives from different countries. This will be President Yoweri Museveni’s 7th term in office. Undoubtedly, the long period of political continuity and stability has granted Ugandans opportunities to forge their path of progress with confidence. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, scheduled to be held in Kampala on 12 May 2026.
