President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has signed the South East Development Commission (SEDC) bill into law,thereby approving the creation of the commission.The bill was sponsored by @OfficialBenKalu and all the lawmakers from the south east region from the House of Representatives.

The bill sponsored by @OfficialBenKalu has been referred to the Committee on Constitution Review for further consideration. If passed into law, this legislation will be a significant step forward for gender equality and women's representation in Nigerian politics.
