I joined His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, at Parliament House as he delivered the State of the Nation Address, highlighting the work done so far and outlining the outlook for Ghana’s future. The address reaffirmed that this Government is forging ahead through action and collective effort to move the country forward. We are determined to ensure that Ghana reaches the level of development it deserves. As a nation, we must remain united now more than ever, both in recognizing the gains we have achieved and in supporting the difficult but necessary decisions required in the national interest. We call on all Ghanaians to come on board as we work together to place our country firmly on the right path.

Lives lost, many injured! this was preventable. We need streamlined digital recruitment systems, clear communication, and proper crowd management protocols. We owe our aspiring servicemen and women better systems. Their patriotism shouldn’t cost lives. #GhanaArmedForces

With deep sorrow, we mourn the tragic loss of eight distinguished individuals in a helicopter crash yesterday at Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom area of the Ashanti Region. We have lost • Dr. Edward Omane Boamah (Minister For Defense) • Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed (Minister For Environment Science and Technology) • Dr. Samuel Sarpong (NDC National Vice Chairman) • Flying Officer Twum Ampadu • Mr. Samuel Aboagye (Former Parliamentary Candidate) • Alhaji Muniru Mohammed (Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator) • Squadron Leader Peter Anala (Pilot) • Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah These were dedicated sons of our land who served Ghana with honour and commitment. On behalf of the government and people of Ghana, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. We share in your grief and pray that the Almighty grants you comfort and strength during this unimaginably difficult time. His Excellency the President has declared three days of national mourning in honour of the deceased. We call on all Ghanaians to join in this period of reflection and remembrance. We respectfully urge the public and media to accord the families the privacy and space they need to grieve and heal in peace. May the souls of our departed countrymen rest in perfect peace.

@IRDNGHANA Throughout history, the various forms of polarization has occurred through series of war, if we’re suggesting that the world is moving towards a multi polar system, should we be expecting something?

The highlights of this year leave me filled with profound gratitude. In fact, I feel like my debt far exceeds Ghana's public debt—except mine is a debt of gratitude, one I can never fully repay. Since the biggest highlight of the year was #MahamaForPresident and eventually #MahamaThePresident, let me attempt to reminisce about my most defining political moment of the year. Before I get to it, I want to express my profound gratitude to Michael Abbey, who recommended me, and to Honourable Sam George, who, as Chair, appointed me Secretary to the ICT, Digitalisation, and Innovation Sub-Committee of the NDC's Manifesto Committee two years ago. Working with this committee until the middle of this year was one of my best experiences. Julian Cobbena (Ascorbic), under Pablo's directive, gave me the opportunity to speak at the NDC's Youth Manifesto Launch at UPSA. At the time, I thought it was just another platform for Julius Anthony to showcase his usual political antics. But that didn’t mean I took it lightly. I consulted my communication and marketing consultants—Manuel Koranteng and Daniel Akroma Kwame Annor—to identify the key points that would strike the right chords. They worked tirelessly, using their expertise to refine a 15-minute masterpiece. With a Danny-and-Manuel combo, what could possibly go wrong? But sitting in that auditorium, I realized this wasn’t just another moment. Everyone I admire, learn from, and aspire to emulate was there, including President John Dramani Mahama and Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang. At that point, Manuel’s final words echoed in my mind: "It's not like you have to overdo it—it’s already in you. Just get into character." At that moment, I made a bold decision: I wasn’t going to read the prepared speech. Instead, I began crafting a new outline, one that captured the energy and atmosphere in the room. I typed furiously on my phone, calling my ever-reliable comrade Nathaniel Addo (JIL) to stand by and print it out. By the time it was my turn, the outline was ready. What followed is now my pinned post on TikTok. I knew my bold move worked from the cheers and energy in the room. Dr. Omane-Boamah, who spoke to me for the first time as I returned to my seat, said, “That was Obama 2004.” And as for what President Mahama and Vice President Naana said in the picture you’ve all asked about—well, let me keep you curious a little longer. I knew it had overworked when, before I could even sit down, my phone was vibrating with messages. The first was from Keelson Aikins, asking what was happening because my name was suddenly everywhere. Then came a message from my boss, @aba_amfo. She’s not easily impressed, so I knew this was big. But the moment that truly epitomized it for me was hearing commendations from those on the other side of the aisle—my NPP contacts. You know you’ve struck a chord when even those you want out of power admit they were moved. Since that day, I can’t step out without hearing, “You’re the guy from the Youth Manifesto Launch” or “I first saw you at the manifesto launch.” But my gratitude isn’t just for those who gave me the platform or helped shape the message. It’s also for a good man like Edudzi Tamakloe Esq., who urged me to stay in politics when I confided in him that the sudden exposure was causing me depression and I wanted to quit. He has since become an invaluable figure in my life, introducing me to people and opportunities I never dreamed possible. So, if you’re wondering what all this is about—this is how the guy who was always on the list of talkatives in primary school attempts to pay debts he already said he couldn't pay, by doing what gets him on the list, talking.

I received a delegation from the University of Cape Coast branch of the NDC in my office on 19th December 2024. I expressed my deepest appreciation for their hardwork and support during the campaign, and shared my gratitude for their visit as well as their congratulatory message. Our work on the various campuses across the country was a huge factor in our success, and we hope to consolidate our efforts by improving the wellbeing of students, staff, and other stakeholders.
