@tedcruz People like Tucker & more alternative people being brought into the campaign/admin got Trump elected a 2nd time (despite doubts from the 1st where no "swamp" was drained) Part of the point of the US is we can construcively criticise politicians. The "lesser evil" idea doesnt work
English

After losing for the fifth time in a row, Tucker dishonestly calls President Trump “the Israel lobby.”
Massie lost because he opposed Trump’s MAGA agenda over and over and over again, so Trump came in and beat him.
Tucker knows this. But he also passionately opposes Trump.
Tucker Carlson@TuckerCarlson
The Israel lobby takes out Thomas Massie and kills MAGA in the process. The good news is, we’ve now confirmed how the system works.

@yaminfouzi Enjoyed one school I went to in the U.S. as a kid, was a good influence, made friends, but was always pro homeschool. Especially now after 2020 & all the madness. One thing holding me back from most of Switzerland is not having the option, if had kids, to take them out of school

@SallyMayweather Whatever reason this is happening I'm assuming its tyannical and un-American. I can't think of anything else 🤔

Madrid 🇪🇸 is one of the most beautiful cities on earth
I don't care about what you say. I've been to 60+ countries and there's only a few cities that can compete with it
Thing is, you have to live here to fully appreciate its beauty
The buildings on Gran Vía. The light in El Retiro at 7pm in October. The terraces that fill up at 10pm on a Tuesday like it's a Saturday. The Prado, which you could visit twenty times and still feel like you haven't seen it
The fact that you can eat well for €12 and extraordinarily for €30
Madrid doesn't get the credit it deserves, mostly because it's not Paris, it doesn't have a beach, and it doesn't have a single iconic landmark that photographs well from the air
Sadly, most people fly over it on the way to somewhere more famous
But it's their loss

@magills_ These people complaining about $28 lunch were more than happy to sit home getting $900/week UI, stimmy checks, and were perfectly fine with gov money printing for 3 years as long as they didn't have to lift a finger to support themselves.

For 55 years the federal government has required your bank to inform on you, and made it a crime for the bank to tell you it did.
Every account watched. Every transfer over a line logged and forwarded. Every deposit a clerk finds unusual written into a report you will never see, sent to an agency you never chose, about money you worked for and already paid tax on.
In 1970 the enemy was organized crime. In 2001 it was terrorism. In 2025 it was the border. The enemy is whatever they need to put on television so no one counts the millions of ordinary people swept up in the same net.
What it actually does is turn your bank into a branch office of the state. A private company you trusted with your paycheck, deputized to watch you, required to file on you, forbidden from warning you, handing a running ledger of your life to an office that needs no warrant to read it and answers to nobody when it is wrong.
The Fourth Amendment was supposed to stand between you and that ledger. A doctrine they invented decided it does not. The day you handed your money to a bank, the courts ruled, you consented to all of it. You cannot live without a bank. They built the machine on a consent no one is free to refuse.
They named it the “Bank Secrecy Act.” Ironically, the only secrecy it defends is the government's. The bank cannot tell you it reported you. The agency that ran the program could not tell Congress how many criminals it ever caught. Your secrecy is called suspicious activity, flagged, filed, and forwarded.
$59 billion spent. 28.7 million reports filed on Americans. 275 investigations actually tipped off. The system does not fail at catching criminals. Catching criminals was always the cover. The watching was always the product.
The threshold sold in 1945 as a high wall around the wealthy has been dragged by inflation down onto everyone. $10,000 bought two new Corvettes in 1970. Today it buys the engine. The wall has not moved in 80 years. They just waited for the dollar to walk everyone into it.
Money you worked for, in accounts you opened, watched without a warrant your entire life, and you were never told.
Today Cato's @EconWithNick said it straight to House Financial Services. The Bank Secrecy Act is the Bank Surveillance Act. They have known for 55 years and watched you anyway. Do not give them a 56th.

Montagu Norman was the most powerful central banker of the early 20th century. In a 1924 speech to the United States Bankers Association, he said:
“By dividing the voter through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance.”
100 years later, people are still trapped in the same left-vs-right divide while the State keeps expanding.

I’m conflicted. Anyone else?
On one hand, Thomas Massie is the best Congressman we have, by a wide margin. He stands on principle and forced the Epstein files into daylight, which should permanently change how people understand the way the world actually works.
On the other hand, his winning feeds the illusion that we can vote our way out. The attempt to achieve liberty through the Republican Party has already failed. The trajectory isn’t improving.
The technocrats are moving at warp speed, faster under total Republican control. The only real exit is for people to recognize their rights don’t come from government, take command of their own thoughts, actions, and emotions, and build parallel systems.
If politics is understood as a tool to slow technocracy while we build alternatives, great.
If a Massie win becomes another excuse to outsource your free will and skip the work of building outside the system, it’s a gigantic net negative.

@hispanicnomad Fun 😂. Well, Paraguay only one sorta trust longer term I think. Not sure which place id pick as a backup 🤔. Heard some so much back and forth opinions about all of them, especially Argentina recently
English

South America, explained:
🇦🇷 Argentina: Convinced they're European. Their economy disagrees
🇧🇷 Brazil: The most fun you'll ever have being completely lost
🇺🇾 Uruguay: Argentina but it actually works. Quieter though
🇵🇾 Paraguay: Nobody talks about it. That's why the smart money is here
🇨🇴 Colombia: Everyone who visits says they'll leave in 2 weeks. Nobody leaves in 2 weeks
🇨🇱 Chile: The Germany of South America. Compliment or insult depending on who you ask

English

Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country. I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent. WITHDRAW YOUR FAKE STATEMENT, MASSIE, RIGHT NOW! President DONALD J. TRUMP

The absolute state of people who still believe in the two party system.
Laura Ingraham@IngrahamAngle
If Massie is a “true conservative,” then why does everyone on the Left want him to win?

$32 million dollars and an entire administration mobilized to destroy one congressman.
His crime?
Demanding answers about Epstein class abuse networks, and refusing to let child predators hide behind political cover.
If that level of firepower doesn't tell you who's being protected, nothing will.
Go Massie!
