KS2 'Off The Scale Fishing' A few boys, learnt 'how to fish' today. From how to hold and cast their rod; how to put bait on the hook and how to keep the fish calm, when its been caught. What a great afternoon!

@SecondaryYouth The lads were impeccably well behaved and would be welcome back anytime.

Year 3 loved their fishing training with Shakespeare's, we had a wonderful afternoon learning how to cast off and throw their bait. Well done Year 3!

@qdprimaryschool Thank you for having us. Becci helps to run a local club called Withnall Angling Club. Junior annual membership is just £12 and they even offer some free coaching and competitions. withnell-angling-club.co.uk I also coach all year round (see flyer)

Year 4 learned a lot about angling 🎣 today and the importance of taking care of our environment. Thanks to Becky and Justin from @Offthescaleoe We had a great time and some of us are hooked on the sport!!

The Angling Club @BSPDJnrBoys were introduced to the float and feeder rods last week & enjoyed fishing at a new lake yesterday. One group caught 27 fish! 🎣

Last night, the Angling Club @BSPDJnrBoys enjoyed their very first match @Offthescaleoe. Lots of fish caught by all but the winners were Ross & Ethan with a total catch of 2.85 lb! 🎣 Well done boys!
