Uniform sampling example, first girl is looking nice, but the further it goes not so much. And hat's nano in 4k

Recursive detailing in Nano, diminishing returns after the 4th pass. Agent instruction is to run 3 passes with prompt: "vector style, add detail, keep composition as is, the added detail has to make sense in context for the image"

@araminta_k Maybe. If you'll figure it out first, let me know please. But I'm sure one can achieve this with simple 2D displacement shaders or stuff like that too. Have to run, laters o//

@OffworldAndre My gut feeling is that it's a cheap/free ai program and they've run the generation through image reference too many consecutive times.
English

@araminta_k haha I know what you mean. It's just so hard to explain, like it looks like 2d fractal noise but has this fractal brocolli pattern kind of lol. Will investigate out of pure curiosity. Maybe they just used a really bad upscaler
English

@OffworldAndre I don’t think that’s what it is because I’ve seen it on LinkedIn as well for posts that have literally no reason to have a filter like that and we’re definitely ai. It also looks like artifacting, you can see the underlying patterning.
English

@araminta_k To me this looks like just wavey 2D fractal noise. Similar to the old oil paint filter in Photoshop. If you have PS, you can look into this filterforge.com
English

@OffworldAndre It’s not dithering , it’s some kind of artifacting and doesn’t look intentional
