In Web3, your Proof of Work (PoW) isnโt just a document, itโs a public, verifiable record of your contributions on-chain.
This can take many forms;
deployed smart contracts, DAO participation, open-source commits, NFT mints, or even your professional presence on platforms like X.
Yet, many candidates overlook showcasing this in their applications.
you often hear "you don't need POW to get a job" it's not a lie but here's a scenerio;
We both applied for the same CM Job, I have 3yrs + experience in the field, I've grown multiple projects with proof and then there's you, no POW, under normal conditions, who would get the job?
even if I fake a POW without the experience, I'm more likely to get the job (this isn't an advice that you should).
Also, you can have the skills, the experience, and the passion, but if your public footprint doesnโt align with your niche, or fails to make your expertise visible, you risk being passed over for opportunities that youโre more than qualified for.
I learnt this the hard way, now you're getting it without sweat. do with it as you wish
