As we mark this year’s Eid and Children's Day, our thoughts are with every family awaiting the return of their loved ones, and with security agencies working to keep our communities safe.
We are working to ensure the safe return of those who were kidnapped in Oriire LGA. May this holy season fill our State with peace.

When I say modern-day dating has become miserable and is more of a humiliation ritual than love, this is what I mean.
Look at her texts and the misery in her life. she tried to put in her best effort and wanted to talk to him, but instead, she became meme material on the internet because he wanted some likes and validation.

I replied irritably, and she replied this. Now i feel bad. 🫠

The craziest thing in all of this fiasco is that they can ping people’s locations. They can.
I remember an incident in 2024 when I accompanied someone to a police station over a “stolen device.” The officer in charge made me realize how easy it is for them to track, trace, and arrest someone if they truly want to.
Ironically, the person I accompanied was innocent. Before we left the station, the actual culprit was brought in alongside his father, who was involved in the process too. Mind you, the father was a “pastor”.
So the question is simple: why haven’t arrests been made? Why are these animals still holding people captive?
It was easy to track people over a stolen device, but suddenly it becomes difficult to arrest people kidnapping children and teachers? Difficult to dismantle people threatening national security? Make it make sense.
Nigeria has always battled insecurity, but the rate of kidnappings and killings under this regime is deeply alarming.
I probably would have been a victim myself around 2007/2008 when we lived in Rikkos, Jos. Till today, I still cannot fully explain how we survived what happened around us.
They can boast of economic policies all they want, but insecurity is way worse because how will people trade in peace? Most especially people below middle class.
And sadly, Nigeria has long stopped valuing teachers. The last period teachers truly seemed respected was during Olusegun Obasanjo’s era.
I’m not even surprised anymore. A country that did not pause when senior military officers were slaughtered like Ileya rams how will they act when a teacher is killed like Christmas chicken?
@renoomokri, we all remember how vocal you were during the Rebecca and Leah Sharibu periods. Since being called to “serve,” your silence has become louder. I remember how viciously you’re always calling out PMB when you were still in the opposition party. Or is it because Tinubu is a yoruba man?
You are respected because people see you as a man of wisdom, integrity, and intellect. Supporting a government is one thing, but there is no crime in calling failure what it is. In terms of insecurity.
I watched your recent podcast and to be honest, you’re so good with PR. I understand what GEJ saw in you before appointing you but it all boils down to the fact that Bola Tinubu as you fondly call him failed horribly in terms of security but he is thriving in making our economy robust and at the same time giving power to the grassroots.
The spiritual institution too has mostly remained quiet on insecurity. The last pastor who strongly spoke against these things was labelled “unspiritual.”
No government can solve every problem overnight, but that should never become an excuse to normalize insecurity.
And to us citizens: we should not fuel insurgency with rumors. False narratives only create more chaos.
To the president and his BATists: e need lati roonu. Because it isn’t happening to Seyi doesn’t mean it isn’t happening to people’s children.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
God bless Oyo State.
May the oppressors never know peace, and may every pain they have caused return to them in equal measure.
As-salamu alaykum.
Amen.

You have the numbers and drive the engagement, so you shouldn’t be using your platform to push an image from Mali 4 years ago that has nothing to do with the abducted children in Ogbomoso.
If you want to spread awareness, use the right image. The image you used has nothing to do with abducted kids in Ogbomoso those photos are from Mali. Y’all need to stop spreading misinformation. You can do better.

@willianmikky Then the killing of suspects is against the law🤷🏽♂️
English

Only the court has the authority to convict anyone of a crime, until then they are suspects… that’s the legal system sha
Ogbeni Adeyemi@OgbeniAdeyemi
Is it legal for someone called “SUSPECTED” to be killed in the constitution? My own point is there is a victim, these people are armed as well but suspected shouldn’t be the word in the right sense.
