They really nailed it: announced their launch week two weeks in advance in their changelog and on socials, also shipped a beautifully crafted landing page. Some companies take launch weeks seriously. last night i stayed up for around 20 hours for kanba's @ProductHunt launch. for nearly 12 hours we were in top 2 (even hit #1 a few times). early on, i noticed something strange. a competitor was getting suspicious upvotes. i sent charts, screenshots, screen recordings to ph support multiple times. they only replied once, many hours later, saying “our automated systems will detect it if anything is wrong.” a few hours before launchday ended, ph deleted over 130 of my upvotes. i worked so hard for this. and you guys backed me so much, as you can see in the quoted post below. anyway, it is what it is. i won’t stay stuck here. if ph ever wants the full data, they can find it in the support threads or just can create connection with me. truth is, last night was super disappointing. but i won’t stay on it. however, 276 upvote is good. i’ll post a full breakdown of what i learned and gained from this launch soon. huge thanks to everyone who supported. you guys are amazing!!
