Maddy you will love Vegas. First off no state income tax similar to Florida. Vegas also has no natural disasters, and we do have all 4 seasons (however this year the have been brief). Albeit July, and August are rough. But generally ppl stay inside or they go to the pools. Also there is no Humidity unlike Florida. We have no natural disasters. We have some awesome nature, tons of outdoor options from Mt Charleston which is more Forestry, Red Rock which is more Rock Climbing, and then you have down in Henderson some trails that run along the Colorado River. Cost of living in Vegas is much cheaper than the City parts of Florida (SOBE) Nice thing is you have tons of entertainment options literally every weekend, from Shows, Fights, Races, Sports etc. If you don’t want to go to the strip which most locals don’t the suburban communities have everything you need from shops, to dining, bars etc. Close to LA only a 45 min flight or 4 Hour Drive. And should they get the Light Rail completed it will be 2 Hour train Ride to LA. Politically LV is Purple, so politics are very reasonable for both parties of ppl. Home prices are still reasonable but I would suggest buying soon. Lastly you will always have ppl coming to visit you in some capacity, you may just have to put your phone on silent, and ignore them 😂 it’s cool for the first 5 groups of friends then you just gotta remind ppl you’re not on vacation.
