Vagabond City has accepted one of my stories. This is like my 2nd or third submission there in the space of two years. I even thought the work was rejected when I heard nothing for months. 🥰

Bro, there has never been a time in the history of this nation that Nigerians were this broke. This is the brokest generation of Nigerians. We’ve never had it this bad. Never!

SO exhausting living in a nation where you’re caught between insanely focusing on the grind vs breaking down because of terrorism. Both modes can hardly coexist. Bruh, they stole our collective peace of mind. We’re not angry enough.

Isn’t it crazy that in Nigeria you can get arrested faster for criticizing the government than the actual criminals committing the crimes you’re criticizing them for?

I don't blame Nigerians that don't come out to protest when it's called for. Dying for this country is not worth it

These “bandits” are not that sophisticated. If the Nigerian government actually wanted to find them, they would find them in a few hours. The government is complicit in this. it’s not rocket science.

Isn’t it crazy that even with the constant news of kidnapping all over the country, we’ve barely seen any news of even 1 kidnapper getting arrested? Either ransom is paid or they’re killed. What message do you think this passes? That kidnapping is a lucrative crime with zero risk. For a country where the only deterrent to crime for a lot of people is prison time, it only makes sense that kidnapping will get worse when there’s no consequences.

Over 37 million women and girls still face period poverty in Nigeria. This International Menstrual Hygiene Day, we call on the government and corporate bodies to make menstrual products available in schools, washrooms, and every public space. #MenstrualHygieneDay
