I'm in two minds on this. I want Labour to have a presence at Pride events to show how much support for the community there is in our party. But a lot of people have been let down and are angry. That's a potential safety risk and diverts focus. Thoughts?

Trans Pride is this weekend in Brighton and I think it is important for voices within the party to be visible and supportive of our trans community in the city. I'll still go as an individual, but is there a place for political parties at that event anymore?

The World Professional association of Transgender Healthcare - WPATH - which represents the leading Consultant's & Clinicians in this field across the World, has issued it's response to #cassreview. And it's damning.

"Mainstream reporting on the Cass Review is largely positive, with little commentary on its lack of credibility and the bias inherent in its design. This isn’t unexpected, but in order to prevent the changes it recommends being introduced, its reputation needs to change."

Of course the #Cassreport ignored 49 of the 50 studies it looked at. We know there are supporters of conversion (torture) therapy on the research team, it even wants to ban adults from transitioning. A total sham and will be used to attack trans people even more.
