Happy to share our work published in Nature Photonics: "Threading light through dynamic complex media". We show how to pilot beams of light via stable channels within moving scattering media. Special thanks to Chai, Christina & John from the Structured Light Group @UniofExeter

@BosonBulmer @ComplexPhoton Our approach allowed us to get to ~9 qubits with only two photons and without active feedforward. Indeed, we pay in the number of modes (but not too much in the depth of the linear optics circuit). As discussed in the paper, to scale up, more photons will of course be required..

New arXiv by @RonenShekel and @OhadLib! Interested in how to compensate scattering of entangled photons through an arbitrary scattering medium? Read more here: arxiv.org/abs/2403.18324

Check out my new arXiv paper: arxiv.org/abs/2403.18324 We shape entangled photons through general thick complex media, using a novel classical feedback mechanism, inspired by Klyshko’s advanced wave picture. It works even when each photon propagates through a different medium!

@photonPhillips Beautiful work! Looks like a challenging experiment... We recently worked hard to extend our MPLC from 5 to 10 planes with a similar SLM. We can maybe exchange tips at some point regarding alignment etc. Again, amazing work, and congrats to Hlib:)

New arXiv pre-print: "All-optically untangling light propagation through multimode fibres". Huge thanks to lead author Hlib Kupianskyi, whose dedication eventually tamed this tricky experiment! This is the final paper from Hlib's PhD at the "Structured Light Lab." Uni. of Exeter!

Shaping spatial correlations between entangled photons using the "fiber piano"🎹 Check out our new @arxiv: arxiv.org/abs/2306.02288 and thread below🧵👇

Check out our new "quantum piano" work on the @arXiv! arxiv.org/abs/2306.02288 😀When entangled photons propagate through a multimode fiber, their correlations are scrambled. We show a cool way to recover these correlations–by bending the fiber mechanically!🎹 a thread🧵

New preprint: arxiv.org/abs/2209.11081 we explore versatile new ways to design 'multi-plane light converters' for spatial mode sorting and optical circuits. We experimentally show a 55-mode speckle sorter and a 36 Zernike mode sorter. Thanks to Hlib Kupianskyi & Simon Horsley!
