They pushed hard at the end and landed over a half dozen hidden gems that broke out during their senior seasons. This is how to do it. Mark Pantoni knows what he is doing.

@OhioStateFBChat @NotKristinsDad @TheBuckeyeNut Thats true. You also have to look at how these recruits could do in their senior year that could rise or drop their ranking incredibly fast. And Ohio state is known for finding some late studs in the fall a couple months or less before early national signing day.

What is going on with the Ohio State 2027 QB recruiting?

@buckeyehero1 @NotKristinsDad @TheBuckeyeNut It's possible but unlikely. The big reason for this is NIL. Not really possible anymore. We only got Julian Sayin because of that specific unique situation with Saban retiring. If Sayin had originally committed to us & not Bama, Noland would have never been in the picture.

@TheBuckeyeNut Ohio State didn't pursue a 2026 QB. Yes they added Luke Fahey but he's a 3* QB, they didn't spend much NIL $ on him & he has a ways to go. Going back2back classes without a true QB solution would be shocking. Sayin likely goes to the NFL in 2027. Only St Clair would be left.

@NotKristinsDad @TheBuckeyeNut We've seen this time and time again. Usually the reason is Ohio State coaches have said they didn't like something and they should look at another program. The fact that both Brady and Ohio State are both looking at other options only confirms that is very likely happening.

@cseem20 RB and WR are the easiest positions to find in the transfer portal. QB can be the easiest position only if you're a top tier program and if you're willing to pay alot of NIL $. Miami perfect example. Offensive Line / Offensive Tackles are maybe the hardest positions to find.

@chernobylurmom @CFBGuy999 In the limited time Mylan Graham did play, he really had a difficult time finding separation and actually holding down that ball last season. This was only about 6 months ago. I think he's still a work in progress but the talent is there. Wouldn't pencil him as your #1 yet.

@CFBGuy999 I don’t think it’s going out in a limb to say yes to this question. Faison will be the slot receiver and will get plenty of touches but Mylan Graham is probably the number 1.

@swishxvibes Sounds like Brady Edmunds not going to be a part of this class. Hard to invest NIL $ if you don't see him a part of longterm future. This is a weak class for a QB. Won't surprise me if we start looking at the transfer portal for a QB once St. Clair college career is over with.

@AzBuckGuy Sometimes the best college QBs end up being bad in the NFL. In college with how limited defenses can be, you need to exploit that defense with a QB who can also run the ball. Having a dual threat QB is the key to elevating your offense in college.

@buckeyehero1 Going to be tough with DGG. Tennessee may offer NFL money for a running back who has never played a single snap in CFB. If we land DGG, it's going to be Bo and DGG as our starters next season. No way he sits on the bench with how much we'd be paying him.

@Steelers_Bucks Think we miss on all those targets. Hard to recruit when Hartline just left. Recruits need to see the new coaches and how they perform. It's okay if we only land Brown in 2027. We have Jett Harrison and Lorenzo McMullen in the 2028 class. Can always target in the portal.
