Teams are currently installing new network access points in Ohio Stadium, upgrading to faster Wi-Fi speeds. Next time you attend an event at the 'Shoe, see the results for yourself by sharing a photo or video from the event!

UPDATE: Repairs to damaged cable lines are complete and network services have been restored to all Columbus campus buildings previously impacted by the network outage. We appreciate the crews who worked tirelessly to bring back services as quickly as possible.

A network outage has occurred at multiple Columbus campus buildings for wired and wireless access. Engineers are actively working to identify the cause. An estimated restoration time is not yet available. Updates will be posted on the System Status page: go.osu.edu/systemstatus

Following any cybersecurity threat, be extra cautious of possible phishing attempts. Phishers are able to craft highly convincing messages that look and sound like the sender they are pretending to be. Report suspicious emails using the “Report Suspicious” button in Outlook.

UPDATE: CarmenCanvas access has been restored. We anticipate Canvas for Professional and Continuing Education will be available by the end of the day.

UPDATE: The Canvas outage has been resolved; however, Ohio State’s instances remain in maintenance mode out of an abundance of caution as we assess any potential impact. Please continue to visit the System Status page for updates.
