When same thing happened to me on launch day A couple of folks tamed me a scammer Where is the so called onchain God called Rexi Or whatever is name is So Eli stole from himself too ?? Thanks a lot for all the support and kind words, guys, especially the help with on-chain sleuthing + OpSec containment steps that I might have missed. btw, I don’t intend to give me DeFi/ crypto but it does instill a sense of paranoia in me. With all that said, I need some time to process everything, sanitize my stacks, and ensure that all preventative measures have been implemented. This isn’t an official post-mortem, but here’s what I can recall: - I never clicked on any links, malicious links, or meeting invitations. - My wallet is only synced on macOS devices (it’s a hot wallet), and no, not on any phone. - I don’t install any devices or browser extensions. - I never put my private key on my AI tools or vibecoding tools; I always generate a new wallet. - A week ago, I recalled that someone tried to access my Mac, which I later changed the password for. (I’m not sure if this is related, but it could be a potential malware.) - Thanks to @DarianXBT for the evidence map; I’ve already submitted it to the @SEAL_911 team for further investigation, along with other information of known victims, @XRPRelic. - I notified @bread_ in case anyone else experienced the same thing, but it seems to be isolated to my case. I’ll update this post if I find any more evidence. Stay safe.

Hard lesson learned on the @megaeth launch. 💔🧵 MegaETH launch was supposed to be the moon mission, but instead, I got a front-row seat to a masterclass in pain. Spent months defending the MegaETH vision, only to have a hacker front-run my airdrop claim because they planted the seed 100 days ago. We talk about security, but how do you fight a sophisticated hacker who bridged into your ecosystem 100+ days ago just to wait for a claim event? My tokens were diverted in seconds. The perp even has a contract automated to spread gas to hundreds of (likely scammed) wallets. The sophistication is terrifying. Watching the tx flow through a web of contracts into hundreds of wallets is a trip. Is anyone actually safe in DeFi anymore, or are we all just liquidity for the elite devs? 💔
