Since the start of 2025, gold prices denominated in the Japanese currency have risen +72%. Gold prices in Yen terms have skyrocketed +364% since the 2020 pandemic low. This comes as the Yen continues to weaken as Japan’s interest rates remain far below those in the US and Europe. The country also faces the heaviest public-debt burden among developed economies, with debt-to-GDP at ~230%. And, Japan's deficit spending is set to rise further after the government approved a record $780 billion budget for FY2026. Gold remains one of the best hedges against currency debasement.

This was my last week at Azuki, it was an amazing and very personally fulfilling journey. Wish it could have lasted longer, but I don’t regret a single moment or experience together with the team. Being able to touch a space I thought was out of reach for a weeb like me was a dream come true. I’m glad I got to represent the community in all things I worked on, and still very much look forward to what come from the team. They’re a great group with extreme drive and motivation. Not sure what’s next for me yet, but I do get very stir crazy sitting around at home so I’ll be pretty active in looking for new opportunities that excite me. I’m built on passion so whatever I end up doing needs to align with my own personal ethos of community, collaboration and a similar dope shit only release motto. Big thank you to everyone in the community and team who supported my journey, helped me grow and learn and let me be an ear for them to just talk or vent. 🙏🫶

Thanks for the words. I’ve been betting on the high calibre team. Love what they have done so far. Huge success regarding SMM. I’m quite uncertain if collectible sales and current engagement/ attention is enough to validate the model right now for me. Giving free anime streaming, like adult swim, is not a new concept. I appreciate it’s a big industry. If it works, you are suggesting profits are rolled back into Anime coin, thereby raising all the boats in the dock? (Anime coin holders)

I think the idea is to leverage engagement, collectible sales etc all while find more ways to optimise revenue inorder to buy streaming licenses.
