The bill reportedly requires 70% of practicing fees to be shared with the Nigerian Medical Association.

This bill redefines radiology in a way that absorbs or removes radiography as a distinct field.

This could effectively sideline the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria, which regulates the profession.

The bill would give the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria full control over areas currently handled by radiographers.
