🚨BREAKING: Benjamin Netanyahu has just said that “Jesus Christ has NO advantage over Genghis Khan.” 🇮🇱
“If you are strong enough, ruthless enough, and powerful enough, evil WILL overcome good.”
What the actual fcuk?
In 2018, a fallen tree in the forests of Ontario revealed something remarkable: a massive rock carved with ancient runes and the image of a ship.
This month, archaeologists confirmed what it says: a 200-year-old runic version of the Lord’s Prayer in 17th-century Swedish, likely carved by a Christian settler tied to the Hudson’s Bay Company.
It’s now the longest runic inscription ever discovered in North America.
If you can presuppose a perpetual motion machine and prove it you'd be "god" ...which again only proves theism, all atheism is is a hole they try to dig themselves out of
@james_ptweets1@LukeDashjr@D_Preacher_1 We don't need to prove how, only that it did begin, that is sufficient for most theists and is the founding of our faith.
God bless
@OikosBack@LukeDashjr@D_Preacher_1 But it proves nothing. We can’t prove how reality began or maybe it just is and our Universe started. Whether it is indeed a supreme being J doubt or just the fundamental nature of reality who knows
Math isn’t something people “believe” in the way religion is. Math is a system we can test, verify, and use to predict real-world outcomes consistently, whether you were taught it as a child or not.
2 + 2 = 4 doesn’t depend on culture, faith, or upbringing. It works the same in Lagos, Tokyo, or anywhere else. If it didn’t, engineering, technology, and science would collapse instantly.
God, on the other hand, is a matter of faith. Different cultures believe in different gods, and those beliefs often come from upbringing, not universal proof.
So no, it’s not the same. One is demonstrable and repeatable. The other is belief-based.
@D_Preacher_1 Do people believe in math because they found evidence, or because they were taught to believe as children?
Yes, it's the same. God's existence is the most well-proven fact ever.
@james_ptweets1@LukeDashjr@D_Preacher_1 Correct, there must be something that set the blue touch paper ablaze, I'm not saying I'm a deist, but it's better than being Zeno, he gave up debating when he realised he couldn't get to the end.
@james_ptweets1@LukeDashjr@D_Preacher_1 Where's the false premise? Are you saying nothing moves?
You see in a debate you have form a conjecture of your own, a rebuttal based on your own ignorance of the problem won't help you
@james_ptweets1@LukeDashjr@D_Preacher_1 You accept all things move?
Can an object move itself?
If it can move itself, under what pretence does it do so?
If it can't move itself and moves, what moved it?
@Crypto21mil@LukeDashjr@PhysicistTx@D_Preacher_1 Trying to prove the existence or non-existence of God using physics is a category error. God is to the physical universe like people are to a chessboard and the rules of chess. The former exist outside the scope of the latter.
