Obviously. That goes without saying. You're acting like it's a revelation only you see. With normal rates, how the fuck does a normal Joe accumulate 4+ houses? Obviously it's near-ZIRP. I'm saying that if Conservatives want to win they must push policies similar to the ones I posit. This will undo and negate the ZIRP effect. If ZIRP is helping people buy houses it should at least be families... Not some fucking boomer fgot buying his 4th fuckin house.

@OilViper @JonFlynnREstats Nah.... I don't get how people don't see that it was the 40 yrs of trending to ZIRP that caused all this. Houses became "priced in terms of houses", which means unless you got in before 2008, you couldn't, and the whole market was just existing owners flipping homes to each other

Avg first-time buyer age in Canada hit 40 last year. 2024: 40 1990s: 30 1970s: 27-29 We've effectively priced out an entire generation from homeownership. When does this become a national crisis? 🤔

Too fucking bad. 1 house per person. And it needs to be vetted so common law and married couples cannot pair up and own two per couple. Those houses go on the market and the renters won't need to rent anymore. They can own. The remaining renters can and will find plenty of rentals on the market as millions move from forever-renting to home ownership. House prices should fall 50% at least using the correct policies. And stay down.

@JonFlynnREstats Also 3) we need to deport millions - and I'm talking about legals too. We need to denaturalize and deport millions of citizens and PRs who come from the 3rd world. Sorry. Has to happen.

1) Buying more than 1 house needs to be made illegal. Period. Sorry boomers. If you own 4 homes you nust liquidate them within 36 months. Law. 2) Incentives need to be put in place to force boomers who are living in family homes out into condos or nursing homes. No more large houses with 1 or 2 occupants in their late 60's. I am not saying to do this by force, but use policy. Example, 100% of your RRSP can be converted to a TFSA with zero tax implications - ONLY IF you vacate a family home (or gift it to your children). This tax advantage will free up homes and allow those elderly people to afford excellent nursing homes, assisted living or condos for themselves. There are hundreds of ideas and concepts you could employ.

@ShadowofEzra Actually we listen to @dbongino who has dropped more than a few truth bombs about the dearly departed Joe Kent from his government position😉 As former #2 at the FBI, his opinion matters more than a any talk show host and spin from a disgruntled employee.

Joe Kent destroys Mark Levin and forces him to go to a commercial break after saying President Trump was fed false intelligence about Iran. Kent says he was a key member of the Trump administration who helped determine Iran’s threat level. He tells Levin the real threat was coming from Israel, not Iran. JOE KENT: There was an imminent threat coming from the Israelis. MARK LEVIN: Interrupts, starts playing music, and goes to a commercial.

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.

@BruinAz @cryptofergani You're cooked. A house was 1x income. In terms of hours worked, essentials were vastly less expensive. Sure a TV was a fortune but a house wasn't.

I genuinely feel sad that current 20 something's missed the era of $500 rent, $3 happy hour, 5 bags of groceries for under $100, multiple job offers immediately after applying, and going out to party without social media apps at your fingertips. IT WAS A TIME.

@jerr_rrej Imagine the nons in tbe presence of gods, and the gods are so self deprecating, claiming they are both “equal”. This will only insult the non, and the non will come to dispise the gods that do not take their proper place. Resentment is the only outcome, We see this today.

I saw Nick Fuentes at a grocery store in Chicago yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”. I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen White Monsters in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the cans and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each can and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
