So yesterday was bittersweet. It was my late husband’s first heaven birthday but my daughter honoured their love by marrying the man of her dreams in a small wedding ceremony It turned a sad day into a wonderful memory of celebration ❤️❤️

One week after my brother passed this handsome young man, our youngest son Justin who was waiting for a kidney transplant lost his battle and passed March 15. Our family is beyond devastated I lost my brother and son on a Sunday seven days apart.

In 2011, @BruceMcCurdy was invited to be part of a hockey analytics advisory group with the @EdmontonOilers. At the conclusion of the project, he was gifted a signed Ryan Nugent-Hopkins jersey, in thanks for his contributions. He wore it a few times over the years, it was one of his prized possessions. It's pictured below (don't worry I have plans to preserve it sooner than later). Also pictured is the chair Dad watched thousands of hockey games from of all levels of hockey. It seems fitting that on 93's thousandth NHL game that the Jersey he would have worn tonight to celebrate one of his favorite players occupies his seat.

My 43 year was a lot of loss but it was as a lot of joy too. I finally got the tattoo I always wanted to honour my dad, my nephew was born, I spent time with my friends and family and today I gotta to hang out with my best friend to ring in my birthday. I think 44 will be good 🌈
