I see the same pattern playing out in Web3, and it honestly worries me more than it angers me.
Many of the loudest voices today were once the exact people seeking for access, clarity, mentorship, and direction, yet the moment they “make it,” they begin to speak as though knowledge is a privilege meant to be hoarded.
As though people no longer deserve time, teaching, or guidance simply because money is now flowing.
What people forget is that they also had humble beginnings, and many of them only survived because someone, somewhere, decided to open a door they did not strictly “deserve” at the time.
The fact that you suffered while figuring things out does not mean the next person must suffer even more than you did. Progress is not meant to harden us; it is meant to refine systems.
Times change, tools evolve, and access becomes easier and if we now have the ability to make things clearer, fairer, and more navigable for others, then refusing to do so is not wisdom, it is insecurity disguised as discipline.
This is why I have made a personal commitment to continually teach every single year, not because everyone deserves access, but because within every thousand people seeking direction, there is always at least one person who genuinely does, and that one life can change everything.
I would have given anything to have the kind of structured opportunities I now create for others, and remembering that keeps my ego in check.
Instead of punishing everyone because a few people are unserious, the smarter and more responsible approach is to build systems that naturally filter out those who lack commitment.
That is exactly why we built Rebirth the way we did where even free access demands consistency, effort, and proof of seriousness, because grinding over time will always separate curiosity from conviction.
If you are told that a life-changing opportunity is guaranteed, but the price is sustained effort, then anyone who is truly hungry will show up, no matter how long it takes.
Complaining about unserious people while refusing to build solutions is easy; creating systems that reward discipline and filter noise is leadership.
This is not about charity, pity, or entitlement. It is about responsibility, perspective, and remembering where you started from.
If you are finding it hard to navigate Web3, if you are new, confused, or simply need structure instead of noise, then the door is open but you will be required to walk the path if you can't afford the shortcut.
