@mjandersen I LOVED Coherence! (apparently there's a sequel in development ...)

While House of Leaves is a key reference point here, I found the strongest parallels with the film "Coherence". You'll also find echoes of the subjects of other Michael-rants like Rabbits (podcast and books) and Unknown 9 (general ARG fun).

UPDATE: finished the book earlier this week, and it scratched quite a few itches (including one that led me to more than one website). There is an explicit "House of Leaves" reference or two that pair well with the thematic parallels...
