“There is always a road that bends away from the sound of a mother’s voice…” My poem “What the Child Remembers” has just been published in The African Griot Review. I’m honored to share space with other African voices telling our stories with tenderness and truth.

Honoured to share that my poem, “Where the Road Bends, the Bone Remembers” has just been published by Words-Empire Magazine. As a writer, I am drawn to how places carry scars, how silence can be an archive, and how stories find ways to return even when scattered.

I am delighted to share that my paper, “Black Atlantic Resonances: Race, Resistance, and Redemption,” has been accepted for presentation at the Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA) 57th Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, in February 2026.

The Architecture Museum of the Technical University in Munich, Germany(TUM) translated my poem. This is my first translated work. 🙌
