Havoc-wreaking defensive tackle of the early-1970s #Bengals
A consensus All-American and Outland Trophy winner at Penn State, Mike was selected seventh overall in 1970.
In his five NFL seasons in Cincinnati, he earned two Pro Bowl nods, two First-Team All-Pros, four All-AFC selections, and led the team in sacks three times.
Reid retired from football at age 27 due to injuries and merely a desire to leave the game. A classically-trained pianist, he pursued his passion for music and became a Grammy-winning country music composer and artist.
