I told my son yesterday to avoid dating a girl from a poor background. In my dating experience, most of them don't believe in love, they just want to escape their unfortunate conditions. More so, they're the saviors their families are banking on to lift them out of poverty.

“Well, here’s what I want you to know. The threat from terrorism is real, but we (Yoruba) will overcome it. We will destroy ISIL (Fulani, IPOB) and any other organization that tries to harm us. Our success won’t depend on tough talk, abandoning our values, or giving in to fear. That’s what groups like ISIL (Fulani and IPOB ) are hoping for. Instead, we will prevail by being strong and smart, resilient and relentless. And by drawing upon every aspect of American power.” — Barack Obama’s speech on December 6, 2015.

E no go better for you. you won’t die well. I place a curse on you today, your end will be terrible and horrible. You think a festival, no matter how long it was planned is worth more than one little child under the rain and sun and the blazing guns of kidnappers? Pooja or whatever your name is, YOU WILL DIE WITH TEARS.
POOJA!!!@PoojaMedia

If you don't want Ojude Oba that is planned for a WHOLE year to hold, come to Ijebu Ode & come & protest. Ti won ba bi iyalaya e da.

@TaoFeek182 @khalifaoyin LOL! The Ibos already conceded Oyo and Kwara to the Fulanis, but they see Lagos and Ogun as their spoil of war. Yoruba is the only dunce in this matter. Ibos want to do to us what the Fulanis did to the Hausas and the Yorubas in Ilorin.

Ogun State is always the scapegoat. Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, held its Durbar Festival—no outrage, despite the security challenges in the state. Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State held a political rally just three days ago—no outrage. APC, NDC, and other parties conducted their primaries successfully—no outrage. Thousands of people gathered in Ilorin on Eid day to pray, without any protests over the k!llings and abdvctions in the state—no outrage. But every year, people draw the line when the people of Ijebu-Ode peacefully celebrate Ojude Oba. When will this selective and performative outrage end? TinubuRescueOrireSchoolChildren 🤲🏿

@Letter_to_Jack Ojude Oba showcases Yoruba cultural excellence, which the Ibos hate to see — this ethnic group aims to be the face of Yoruba.

Ojukwu invaded multiple Nigerian states, bombing and expanding his territory well beyond the Eastern Region before and during the war. The only reason those states don't cry about it today is because they chose to heal.

Ayo, are you telling me there are no back streets these performative people can use, or, even if there are none, why couldn't they use a segment of the road instead of deliberately blocking both lanes of traffic? You are seeing an attack on your religion, while she saw an infringement on her right to free movement. The world shouldn't stop because you are having a religious celebration.

You and the girl in the video are not serious. It’s very pathetic of you people. Ndi Tolerance. The lady said people are going to work? Which work exactly? On a nationwide public holiday? This entire complaint shows a complete lack of sensitivity and basic societal tolerance from your end. You like to chant tolerance when it suits you, but you cannot even stomach a situation that happens just once a year. The entire Eid prayer, from the moment the congregation stands up to the final tasleem, takes less than ten minutes. If our society can handle large political rallies, street carnivals, and infinite weekend parties where they block access roads for hours on end without you losing your minds, you can definitely survive ten minutes of a peaceful community prayer on an official public holiday. Drop the fake outrage and find something better to do with your day.

I wonder Why do Muslims block Busy roads during Salah prayer. Not right at all!

Has he ever called himself a leader or demonstrated leadership propensity before he was lured by the IPOB and marketed as the best man to lead Nigeria into its Eldorado? How do people expect a man whose political antecedents boast of begging his way to the top, amidst vain allegiance oaths, to have leadership qualities? This man confessed on National TV that his children always record him because they don't trust him to keep his word. Why are they expecting too much from a man who admitted that he has no control over his matrimony?

Peter Obi’s region side of the NDC is in complete disarray. Listen to the bitter complete coming from the NDC Aspirants in the South due to lack of leadership. You won’t see this happen in the Northern NDC under the leadership of Kwankwaso.

Tinubu’s government is a comedy show where propaganda serves as a platform for Sowore and VDM — both are diversionary tools. This morning, we would have read that VDM’s office was raided, that all electronics were carted away under a court order, and that the first publisher of the video has been arrested.
Foundational Nupe Lawyer@egi_nupe

There was a video in circulation that was/is capable of setting up a part of the country against the government and the rest of the country, which turned out to be doctored and no way to verify the extent to which the video has traveled to, yet you people didn’t think it was necessary for the person alleged to have released the video to issue a simple disclaimer and deny the authorship of the video, even without being asked to. I suppose that’s the right and commonsensical thing to do. In fact, if possible, volunteer to track down or support the tracking down of the person who released such destructive video to the public. I know when emotions are high, we often suspend applying common sense, but we must not allow our hate or disgust for the persons in government and loyalty to online activists to blind us from saying the truth. As much as I am all for holding the government accountable and responsible, where and when necessary, it’s even a part of the mechanisms that strengthen our democracy; it is not at the expense of threatening the corporate existent and peace of the entire nation, which is the ulterior motive of whoever is responsible for the making, release and wider circulation of that dangerous and perilous video. In the end, we all know what we are doing. Whichever side we pick today, prosperity awaits everyone in the next phase of life.
