Largely, you can’t get to choose the family you’re from. You also can’t choose your tribe, most times you stick to whatever fufu rel!gion you’re born into. THE ONLY THING YOU CAN GET TO CHOOSE IN THIS LIFE AS A WHOLE… is … a…. WIFE! You get to decide the family you’d CREATE. . . And there are some of you men that are of the opinion that your parents’ opinion matters in whom you decide to spend the rest of your own life with ? The only ONE THING in life you get to choose, you still want someone else to influence it ? You’re very mad.

A disturbing case from 2019 involving this man named Asiwaju has resurfaced online, drawing public attention again. Asiwaju, who was considered one of the notable faces on Twitter at the time, said he met a girl at the club and spent over 500k on drinks. They both got high and later had sex in his car. A lady identified as Blessing Osom, whom he had an encounter with, came out with rape allegations and it escalated fast. She didn’t stop there, she brought in another girl to back the story and make it more believable, heating up the case even more. The girl allegedly started blackmailing and extorting Asiwaju, severely affecting his reputation and mental well being. Amid the growing controversy, his mother suffered a heart attack after learning about the allegations, an event he believed contributed to her death. Overwhelmed by the combination of public backlash, personal loss and emotional distress, Asiwaju tragically took his own life later that same year.

Mr Salako, sincerely I don miss you for this X. Please put me on some of the books you think should be a must read for me as a young adult. I just finished Ikigai and I'm currently on The art of war by Sun Tzu. So when you drop more wisdom I go fit relate better like this one.
