If a company truly wanted you gone immediately, it wouldn’t spend time documenting expectations, providing support, setting milestones, and reviewing progress. A PIP is meant to improve performance not just justify exits. However, if there is no meaningful improvement by the end of the process it may be time to start planning your exit 😉
