@mrmckee He'll be looking for an attorney soon to be sure his contract gets paid after the Saudis leave. Sad end to his legacy.

We should take away voting rights from anyone that begins a sentence with, "Ya know I was listening to Mike Greenberg earlier and ..."

Mike Greenberg on SGA: “Sometimes watching him play is agonizing. It is not fun…. You have to understand that for the rest of us, watching this style of play is not like watching Steph, it’s not like watching Michael Jordan. It’s just not. We’re watching to be entertained.” (via @GetUpESPN, h/t @NBA__Courtside)

@OU_MGolf @OU_Athletics We lost a super coach - he has big shoes to fill! Hoping for the best...
English

@SoonerScoop Well, really disappointed to hear this but I am gonna take him at his word and desire to be closer to family in Georgia. Thanks Coach - you really made the difference for this program!
English

@SamHumphreys34 Totally agree Sam. Really bad time, with men's nationals starting in 5 days, for this to start bubbling up.

In my opinion, Ryan Hybl is the best coach in college golf. What he has built, compared to where the program was before he got there, is remarkable. Maybe he wants to go back home to the state of Georgia, and if that’s the case, he fully deserves to be wherever he wants, given his resume. But OU better do everything in their power to try to keep him, because you cannot replace Coach Hybl.

@OUgolfHYBL @OU_MGolf Wow! Congrats coach and team! So impressive....glad to see us on a run to La Costa.

@RyderCupUSA Wasn't wild about the Captain pick, but you can see where future potential captains are coming from with Leonard and Cink. Think those are solid directions to go.
English

@GolfDigest Yea, just not seeing it. He didn't get "unlucky" in France - he poorly handled the course setup. And what is the big whoop about a "return" to this system for a RC in Europe? The Johnson/Pavin/Lehman system? I hope he does well but have minimal expectations.
English

Jim Furyk is the right pick because he represents a return to the only system that has worked in recent years for the Americans.

@GolfDigest @ShaneRyanHere HUH? The system that got thumped 17 1/2 - 12 1/2? What are they doing at the PGA?
English

Yes, he lost as captain in 2018.
But Jim Furyk is a the right pick because he represents a return to quite literally the only system that has worked in recent years for the Americans.

@GolfChannel @RyderCupUSA Jim is a nice guy but this is what we have come to? Begging Tiger Woods or retreading someone who got thumped 17 1/2 to 10 1/2? We are so lost on the Ryder Cup process....
English

@GolfDigest Just following in line with the World Cup, Olympics, etc. Got to wonder if these events pass a Rubicon at some point and attendance starts to suffer? Just wondering....

Ticket prices for the 2027 Ryder Cup in Ireland are considerably higher than the 2023 match in Rome. 📈

@Eddie_Rado Yea, this is the sort of series you got to make a better showing in before you can be a serious SEC contender.
English

@wingoz Damn, I like this guy! An informative response instead of the old mumbled jargon.

@IchBinDeutsch_ @KREFsports @ESPNDari But you are taking that "saved" money and giving it to a guy who hasn't proven he can take a roster and make it work at OU. Around. 300 win percentage in the league, come on! More money down a rat hole to me....
English

@OldGrayTop @KREFsports @ESPNDari Feisty? Hell no, he makes perfectly good sense. Do you know anybody who is willing to write a $10 million check to make the couch go away and then another $15 million check to get a new one and also have enough money left over to get a roster for next season?
English

What would Roger Denny say to those who are upset Porter Moser is coming back?
Denny told the Dari Nowkhah Show:
“To the folks that say Porter needs to go, I would love to see someone tell me how spending somewhere between six and 10 million dollars on transaction costs, that never find their way into making our program better. How that’s going to have more return on investment, than taking our resources and going out and adding more talent in our staff and in our roster.”

@TRowOU @Oklahoma_AD @NEWS9 @NewsOn6 I'm going to obviously give him more time to see how he does, but think he fumbled this first big decision. With 1 NCAA in 5 years, and a .364 conference record across 2 conferences, it is tough to see shoveling more money at this. Will any coach have more pressure in 26/26?
