@SNAFU_Sara @UPS My guy says they are in the middle of a driver buy out program. When it is over it is a 30% cut in drivers. When you put all of your eggs in one basket it can bite you. Big trucking lobbied the government convincing them there was a big driver shortage. It all went to shit.

@OldGrumpyMike @UPS It sucks too because UPS is so much easier to work with via Amazon than other ones. I stood in line for 30+ min to return something to Kohls when UPS wasn’t an option.

Hey @UPS you delivered a package of mine to the wrong house, and. I try to file a claim it tells me the package number is wrong, it’s literally autofilled from what you gave me. This is time sensitive too. 😡

@SNAFU_Sara @UPS Seems like any time I really get to know one of them they change routes or they have been having a bunch of layoffs lately with a huge batch of them to come. Their Amazon contract is going away and Amazon is going to lease drivers. it is going to be ass bad as trucking.

@cabinsmountain Cookie cutter tracts and HMO's suck. Did you know in places in Central America they don't have house numbers but use the name of the street and the color of the house.

@SNAFU_Sara I would have hated that in my 40s more than I do now. At 74 I can tell you the thing I hate most about growing old is the loss of loved ones. Grandparents, parents, brother, best friend of 45 years, classmates and coworkers. It just sucks.

It also means when your kid is early 40’s they will have lost their mom, dad, aunts, uncles. It means increased chance of being there for them for a shorter period of time. Why do I know this? I’m going through this.

It’s just like this crushing, all-consuming doom has settled over me. Anyone else?

@SDAShevangelist @W4LKawayRenee @MetamateDaz Eventually they all turn into constain home improvment projects. Mine was built in 1951. I bought it in 1990 nothing had been done to it. It still had the ceader shake sides on it. Now resided, new windows, stuffed full of insulation. I'll die here. It's paid for.

@W4LKawayRenee @MetamateDaz Thank you, it’s been a continual project to make improvements. The HVAC system destroyed our “home improvements budget.” We bought it because we loved the area. The property is absolutely perfect and we have the best neighbors. 🏡

Dear house flippers, Please, be more intentional with your work. I'm trying to buy a house for my family & all I can find are flips. I just wanna buy a normal house. Not one with white brick & gray plastic floors. Please stop flipping in areas where there aren't a lot of inventory, bc then people that don't want flips have 0 options. I'd rather have an old 70s ugly house that I get for an ok price instead of a more expensive gray box I STILL want to redo.

@SNAFU_Sara @DavisSchools They are too busy out buying supplies for the kids because even with our high taxes, the districts are finding great places to waste money. They certainly don't put it into our teachers or kids.

Why does my kids school not do “Back to school night” why are they hiding the teachers from the parents? 🤔 @DavisSchools
