@ArtsyMarx1st Why spend so much time and energy on a “guy” who you believe didn’t exist? Kinda weird and reeks of some kind of bitter agenda.

posts like this are funny cuz sure, but jesus wasnt a real guy. theres no evidence beyond anecdotal that he was real, and most details of his life are borrowed from other religions. so its like a bunch of ppl arguing over what hercules looked like.

Just a reminder for Christian's celebrating Easter this week. Jesus looked like the guy in the first picture - not the second.

Why are the only slaves that matter are the African slaves that were brought to the Americas? There was slavery in the Americas before Europeans. The word “ slave “ cones from Slavic the European slaves the Moores bought and sold. There are still slaves in Africa today held by other Africans. There are muslim slaves in China today. There are people all across the globe enslaved by Drugs and Alcohol today.

The hard truth is that large segments of urban American Black subculture have failed to thrive and integrate smoothly into broader society. This isn’t primarily because of White culture, White privilege, or White racism. The fundamental issue is that in too many of these communities, cultural norms have evolved toward high levels of violence, family breakdown, and social dysfunction that prove resistant to reform. Far too often, there is little willingness to confront and change elements like the glorification of street life, absent fathers, “no-snitch” codes, and a mindset that expects others to tolerate elevated crime and disorder. This has produced real social incompatibility in many high-crime areas - not mainly from racism by outsiders, but from internal priorities and choices that often include disproportionate Black-on-White violent crime (Black offenders are significantly overrepresented as perpetrators against White victims in FBI homicide and violent crime data, relative to population shares, even as most violence stays intra-racial). Most White people aren’t out to “get” Black Americans. They’re simply exhausted. Exhausted by the relentless social pathologies, the violence that hits Black communities hardest but also spills over disproportionately onto others, the endless complaints and blind racial solidarity, the bottomless pit of grievances, the excuses, and the reflexive animosity directed at anyone pointing out these patterns.

So I watched "The Passion of the Christ" last night. And I am on my back deck tonight thinking. Think about this. In the movie, they have beaten him to near death and when they first take him to his cross, Jesus clings to it, and the thief chastised him for embracing his own cross. Mocking him for doing so. Then Christ gave all he had to carry that cross which weighed as much as him.. They beat him while he did. It came to the point that his physical body couldn't carry it any longer, so a man was ordered to carry it with him. Yet Christ still clung to the cross. Do you know why? Because he knew at the other end of that short journey was OUR freedom. Not his.... OURS..... with every single step, with every drop of blood, with every single tear, he knew he was one moment closer to being at the right hand of the Father and his mission complete to free us all. The man embraced the cross. Begged God to forgive the men nailing him to it. Begged God to forgive those that had beaten him with whips and canes and hammered a crown of thorns on his head. He embraced it all.... for US...... And now, when times get hard and life gets even slightly uncomfortable, we claim that "God isn't listening and won't take my burden" as if we even know what a real burden is... How many times would we cling to the proverbial cross for another and suffer as he did to free them from the pain? Would we ever do it at all? Maybe for our own child? Maybe? As you lay down tonight, pray a prayer of thanks. Not for the normal things. Not tonight. Tonight, pray a special prayer of thanks that he held on to that cross and carried it as far as his mortal body would allow... because that took more dedication than any of us could give for anyone. By the time you wake up in the morning, he will have risen, 2000 years ago. He will have beat death. 2000 years ago, all the sin you and I will ever commit was paid for because he clung to that cross like it was a lifeline.... not for him... But for you and me.

Mets broadcasters trash St. Louis on air: “No people anywhere.” Annie says it's completely classless. You don’t visit another team’s town and rip the city like that. Would Cardinals announcers trash NYC’s crime, homelessness & chaos? #STLCards #LGM

This woman is making her famous seafood Alfredo. She starts off by putting frozen cooked shrimp, crab and imitation crab onto the griddle. The she adds garlic and onions, cheese and jarred Alfredo and breaks up raw pasta. She keeps cooking until she proclaims the noodles are al dente even though we see some raw ends sticking up. She has her husband be the taste tester for her creation. He takes one bite but I wonder why he doesn’t give his opinion on it. Would you or have you made this on the griddle, did she do it right?

I just had a very disturbing Good Friday encounter with an ICE agent at the airport As I was going through security, an ICE agent asked me for my ID. I told him this isn’t Soviet Russia and that the only citizenship papers I planned to show him were the Declaration of Independence “Sir, I’m just asking for ID, not proof of citizenship,” he said. “Today is the anniversary of Jesus’s resurrection,” I replied. “He was an American. Would you have asked to see his papers too? Would the scars on his hands not have been enough for you?” He was stunned silent. I strode past him without showing my ID and went through the metal detector I received a standing ovation

A mother of five children, including a 3-month-old baby, all from different fathers, says she’s ready to remarry. She insists the man must be earning about $800,000 and that there will be no sex before marriage. She also strongly believes in God. 🤷‍♂️

@Villgecrazylady This wasn't just a "historical event" as you put it. That downplays that it was the ultimate act of evil by a twisted demon looking to eradicate an entire subsect of the human race because of their beliefs. You have a problem with trying to prevent that from happening again?

This shit is so weird. 1. There’s literally a giant ass Holocaust Memorial smack in the middle of Boston. It’s like a whole friggin park. They have tour guides and everything. 2. The Holocaust didn’t even happen in America. The victims weren’t even American. Why TF does every city in America need *multiple* memorials/museums dedicated to this foreign historical event???

Boston's first Holocaust Museum will open this year at 125 Tremont Street. It will feature real artifacts, survivor stories, and interactive exhibits designed to confront hate and make sure history is never repeated.

@KatelynTweeter You are missing the point. A big part of the reason why many are pro-life is that they want other people to be responsible.
