Another successful Open House event for our families. Thank you for joining us!

Tonight is the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Open House. Doors open at 6:25pm. Please use the back parking lot and enter through the gym doors near the playground.

Our students and staff had fun mismatching for our first spirit day of the school year. Mr. Ciccone and Mrs. Baxter had the same idea. 🏈⚾️🏒 Our next spirit day is on October 16th. The theme this month will be twin day! Find a buddy and let’s have some fun! 👯

We had a great time last night at Bruster’s! Special shout out to our families who came out to support and to our teachers who helped scoop!

Did you know that Old State Elementary is home to the @AppoSchools Chinese Immersion Program for 1st-5th grade students? Today we visited our youngest Otters who were going over the schools PBS SPLASH expectations with their teacher, Xie Laoshi. All PBS resources are translated.

Last night our Otters had the opportunity to meet their teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. We had a blast and are so excited to welcome you all back on Tuesday!

Our teachers and staff are bringing the energy this school year. Our Otters are in for an Olympic level experience!

We have had an incredible week of professional learning and team building. Our staff SHOWED UP today as we competed in our very first Old State Olympic Games. 🏆🥇

As National School Counselor’s Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to publicly thank and recognize two of the best. We are so fortunate to have Mrs. Sakers and Mrs. Swalm at Old State. Thank you for supporting our students!

This week 24 Otters made state history!  We are one of three elementary schools in the state to have a Junior Esports League! We couldn’t do this without our awesome STEM teacher @JasmynHart. Special shout out to Mr. McNulty for all of your help and support along the way too! 🎮
