Hello everyone, I'm back bugging your timelines!! We return on Norfolk Street at North Shields for the last of the town's most beautiful pubs, churches and schools. Today's focus is on the latter, with this sandstone construction having a number of different lives.

The Robin Hood survived the heavy North Shields bombing, though only just. Beacon Street was bombed during raids in 1941 that killed 2. This, amongst presumed others, left it compromised and left the pub a notorious reputation of being wonky.
