I agree that some of Trump’s words were disrespectful. I mean, I wouldn’t talk to a colleague like this either.
However, I also think this reporter should ask better questions.
Both sides need to improve.
War is war. You don’t tell anyone anything.
The reason why America didn’t tell other countries about the attack is because they didn’t want to. And they’re allowed to do that.
If a coworker asked me why I didn’t tell them I’m quitting the job, it’s because I thought it was better for me not to.
Every action has an equal reaction.
Asking unsophisticated questions can lead to a response you don’t want.

This isn't the first time Donald Trump has mentioned Pearl Harbor in front of a Japanese Prime Minister.
In 2018 Trump said "I remember Pearl Harbor" to his "friend" Abe during a rant about Japan's trade practices. Mr. Abe was "exasperated."
