What difference does it make to anyone’s life knowing exactly what the injury is,when Soul Rush comes back of what use will that information be to anyone,I think we can trust Willie,Nicky or anyone else enough to know when the horse is returning he’s fully recovered from the injury and nobody will be having sleepless nights because they didn’t know,if they said he fractured a pedal bone 99% of people wouldn’t know wtf is going on

The governing body announcing exactly what the injury is and the trainer explaining the intricacies of the problem
But in Ireland, an 8yo national hunt gelding sustains “a setback” which rules him out of this season and the entirety of next season, with no explanation of what the injury is to his fans and the general public 🥴

It seems like the correct decision has been made regarding Constitution Hill running in the Champion Hurdle.
As I’ve previously stated, it would be completely irresponsible to run him over hurdles again, and catastrophic for the sport if something happened to him at Cheltenham.

Please take in the magnitude of what Ka Ying Rising is doing in Hong Kong. Today he won a record 18th race in a row and blew 0.56sec (!) off the 7f track record. Sha Tin opened in 1978 and he has now run the three fastest-ever times over 6f and the fastest 7f there.🤯 Greatness.

Will be very interesting to watch if they ever go big into the breeding side of racing. Clearly an appetite to grow the sport in Saudi but it needs more than just money being thrown at new shiny stands and big pots for foreign runners.

@RacingPost It needs radical increases in prize money, it really is that simple. The majority of races run in a year are lower class handicaps and winning those races doesn’t cover 2 months training fees. Weatherbys new proof of funds rules will further hit this % too for syndicates
